According to data released by the American Iron and Steel Institute (AISI), the US's weekly crude steel output totaled 1.870 million short tons in the week ended on June 15th, up by 1% from 1.851 million short tons in a week ago.
Besides, the figures increased by 0.4% in comparison of 1.862 million short tons in the same period of a year ago.
In the given period of time, the country's average capability utilization was at 78.1%, higher than 77.3% in a week ago.
